It is made from grapes from two vineyards: Carralogroño (1979) and Carraelciego (1940), located in the middle of the town and separated by barely three kilometers in a straight line. They express completely different qualities when vinified.\u003cbr\u003eThe grapes are almost entirely destemmed and processed in\u003cbr\u003esmall tanks, fermenting spontaneously. Afterwards, the wine is transferred to 500-liter French oak barrels, where, in addition to undergoing malolactic fermentation, it stabilizes naturally and acquires a slight woody taste.\u003cbr\u003eFinally, and when deemed appropriate through tasting, a coupage of the barrels is carried out.
