This wine is made with mencía and alicante bouchet from the town of Espanillo, at an altitude of 700 meters, with an average vine age of 80 years. Mengoba produces its wines with a philosophy of minimal intervention and maximum respect for the vineyard, the terroir, and biodiversity. The grapes are harvested manually and fermented in 5000-liter foudres where they age for 11 months. It has 13% alcohol by volume.
