Baron de Chirel Reserve

€105,00

Aromas of blueberries, red currants, blackcurrants, damson plums, and sour cherries in liqueur, along with notes of graphite, licorice, blue flowers, and undergrowth. Spicy notes also appear (clove and black pepper) and sweet notes (cocoa).
The entry is powerful, dense, and very rich. Its tannins are present but ripe. Very long, persistent, and elegant. It displays formidable acidity.

This wine is only released to the market when a vintage has been exceptional. It was first produced in 1986, and for experimental purposes, grapes from very old, low-yielding, and high-quality vines were used. It is still made in this way today, resulting in a very expressive, intense, and penetrating red wine.
