Exopto Field Blend Blanco is a wine from Laguardia, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. French winemaker Tom Puyaubert works with vineyards over 60 years old where traditional varieties such as Viura, Malvasía, Garnacha Blanca, Torrontés, Palomino, and Moscatel coexist. These are small, low-yielding plots planted on clay-limestone soils with rolling stones, where Atlantic influence provides freshness and the Riojan landscape imbues character. It's a way of looking at the land with respect again, allowing each vine to contribute its own voice to the same story.
With a delicate nose revealing notes of citrus, white flowers, hints of anise, and a subtle touch of thyme that evokes the Mediterranean landscape. On the palate, it displays vibrant freshness and an enveloping texture, with a pleasant mineral sensation that lengthens the finish and leaves an elegant impression.
