Supurao Ecological Red Wine Ojuel

Very subtle and complex nose, full of nuances of red and black fruits, flowers and wild herbs. Liqueur-like, unctuous and balanced on the palate, with winter compote and raisins.

SUPURAO DE RIOJA is more than a wine, it is drinking a tradition, it is ethnography. Sweet but with the perfect balance of acidity, it comes from a laborious process where the grapes are kept hanging during winter in the upper part of the houses, concentrating their juices, "suppurating"… When the raisining is advanced and winter comes to an end, the raisins are pressed, obtaining a very sweet must, which, after a partial fermentation in the winery, gives rise to a unique and singular wine, with characteristic flavors and aromas recovered from the past.
