The Vivanco family, historic pioneers in Rioja, has been producing their first sparkling wine for just a few vintages. It is a pioneering wine in the appellation and a personal project of Rafael Vivanco. It primarily uses Maturana blanca, recently saved from near extinction. Vinified using the traditional method, with aging on lees and a very, very restrained dosage, it offers prominent notes of stone fruit and white flowers and a vibrant acidity.
