Vivanco La Isla Blanco is a masterpiece crafted primarily from the Viura grape (98%), complemented by 2% of other varietals such as Malvasía, Garnacha Blanca, and Calagraño. The vines, planted using mass selection in 1973, add a unique dimension to this wine.
Its production is a limited treasure of 1,051 75cl bottles, this exclusive production highlights the meticulous attention paid to every detail.
Excellence begins with careful refrigeration of the grapes, followed by a double selection at sorting tables, both of bunches and individual berries. An 8-hour cold maceration and pressing culminate in a free-run must that is transferred to 500-liter French oak barrels for final fermentation.
The magic continues with a 12-month aging process, where a portion of the wine rests in extra-fine grain French oak barrels, while another matures on its lees in small tanks. This treasure has aged for a minimum of 30 months in an underground cellar before reaching your hands.
