Lan D 12

It is predominantly characterized by notes of ripe, liqueur-like red fruit and milky touches over a background of toffee, vanilla, cinnamon, and cocoa.
It shows harmony between the fruit and toasted notes, creating a sweet effect upon entry. Enveloping tannins with a good, persistent finish of red fruit and licorice.

Lan D-12 pays homage to LAN employees by bringing to light the wine from tank number 12, the one the team likes the most. It honors the Riojan tradition of winemakers keeping the best tank for their own consumption and that of the grape growers. At LAN, the best elaborations have historically been made in tank number 12, hence the name of this wine, one of the most special ones.
