Subtle, with fine anise and chamomile notes, leading to aromas of withered flowers along with herbaceous notes of boxwood and nettles that add freshness to the whole.
A complex white wine, with nerve, a lot of character and a hint of salinity. Aging on lees gives it volume, unctuousness, and a very silky touch that envelops the mouth.

This is one of those wonderful white wines from Rioja Alavesa made from Viura and Malvasía (also known in the region as Rojal) vines planted in the so-called “cabezadas,” the highest and poorest areas of the vineyards. A complex wine, with subtle anise and chamomile notes, which in this 2022 vintage particularly stands out for its magnificent density in the mouth.
