Bigmouth

​Murmurón is a young red wine from the Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja, produced by Bodegas Sierra Cantabria. This wine is made with 95% Tempranillo grapes and 5% Viura, from their own vineyards located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida, in La Rioja. ​

It is produced using the traditional carbonic maceration method, which involves the fermentation of whole grape clusters for 10 days, with gentle daily pump-overs. Fermentation is carried out with selected native yeasts from the vineyards themselves, maintaining a controlled temperature between 23ºC and 25ºC. ​

• Appearance: Intense cherry red color with violet hues. ​

• Aroma: Dominated by fresh aromas of red fruits, accompanied by floral, balsamic, and licorice notes. 

• Taste: On the palate, it is flavorful, intense, and fruity, with lactic notes and a well-integrated acidity. It is pleasant and easy to drink. ​
