Eulogio Pomares goes beyond Rías Baixas to produce one of his most special wines: O Estranxeiro. The winemaker has gone to Ribeira Sacra, where the Miño is a religion, to make his single-varietal Mencía. A wine of limited production and with a very enjoyable profile, with spicy and balsamic notes that show that other wines are possible in this area.
