The Piconada Mature Red

Aromas of blueberries, forest herbs, and plant shoots.
Good acidity, good tannicity, mature, flavorful, and with that touch of pyrazines that evoke the taste of guindilla peppers, giving the wine a surprising freshness. The grapes come from the "La Piconada" vineyard, planted in 2008 and trained on a double cordon trellis system, located in the town of Anguciana, on a clay-iron soil with rounded pebbles at an altitude of 535 meters. It ferments in stainless steel tanks, and after a gentle aging on its lees, it is aged in French and American oak barrels for 13 months. Don't let the intense ruby color fool you; it is a gastronomic and persistent wine.
