Synod or Gratian - Garnacha

An attractive combination of red berries with a sweet sensation, typical of Grenache, with the freshness, structure and notes of black forest fruits and spices of Graciano. All this on a complex oak background with delicate smoky and sweet flavors.

Sínodo is the project of three friends passionate about wine. Juan Antonio Blanco, Roberto Monforte, and Gorka Etxebarria produce very limited productions from small family vineyards located in Villamediana de Iregua and Uruñuela, in the heart of the Najerilla valley. This balanced Riojan coupage of Grenache and Graciano is a good example of a proposal that is as carefully crafted as it is surprising.
