Viña Bosconia is a classic, elegant, and precise Rioja. A red wine with structure, depth, and that unmistakable style that is only achieved when the origin is respected. A wine that does not seek to follow trends: it creates them. A Rioja that tastes of history, but also of discovery.
The grapes for Viña Bosconia Reserva come from Finca El Bosque, a vineyard planted on a hillside, very close to the Ebro River, which is fully exposed to sunlight. This particularity allows for balanced ripening, which is completed thanks to the clay and limestone soils that bring finesse and minerality to the clusters. The harvest of Viña Bosconia Reserva is manual and carried out in small poplar wood boxes to the winery, located less than a kilometer away, ensuring that the grapes arrive whole, fresh, and at their best. After being crushed, Viña Bosconia Reserva ferments with indigenous yeasts in large oak vats and is aged for 5 years in American oak barrels (made in the winery's own cooperage). Before bottling, Viña Bosconia Reserva is periodically racked and clarified with fresh egg whites, maintaining a gesture that honors tradition.
