Fresquito de Tinaja – Montilla-Moriles
The Andalusian white that is drunk as its name suggests: cool and straightforward.
Fresquito is a young and sparkling wine born in centenary earthenware jars, made with Pedro Ximénez grapes from old vines grown in albariza soils. The fermentation and aging in earthenware jars give it a very special character: it is pure, saline, and with an elegance that surprises from the first sip.
Aromas of white fruit, dried flowers and a slightly anised background. On the palate it is dry, with good acidity, a saline touch and a silky texture that makes it super versatile and very easy to drink. Fresquito, as it should be.
