This Nicaraguan ultra-premium rum is part of Flor de Caña's Centenarios Collection. The sugarcane, the raw material from which it is made, grows in the shadow of the San Cristobal volcano, one of the most active in Nicaragua and Central America. The mineral-rich soil produces richer molasses and a smoother, more balanced rum. Furthermore, it is aged in white oak barrels previously used to age American bourbons. Flor de Caña Centenario 12 is one of the most acclaimed rums from this distillery. It was highlighted by Wine Enthusiast in 2004 and has received over 13 international awards.
