Gevrey Chambertin Thierry Mortet

A Premier Cru from Gevrey-Chambertin, a terroir that produces some of the most concentrated red wines of the Côte d'Or. Made with grapes from 20 plots totaling 3 hectares. They are planted in clay-limestone soils with vines between 20 and 70 years old.

Domaine Thierry Mortet is located in the famous village of Gevrey-Chambertin, in northern Burgundy, very close to Dijon. It was founded as a result of the family dissolution of Domaine Mortet Charles & Fils in 1992, from which Thierry inherited a small vineyard of 4 ha. He has gradually managed to expand his plots and now also produces wine in Chambolle Musigny. Very pure elaborations that result in frank and elegant wines, where the fragrance and delicacy of Pinot Noir can be appreciated without losing consistency, amplitude, and length on the palate.
