Iraun is their single-vineyard white wine from the same estate as El Artillero, and it is made from 80% Viura, 10% Malvasia, and 10% Calagraño.
Iraun is entirely made in new 500-liter French oak barrels, where it ferments and ages for 10 months.
It is a white wine with great aromatic complexity that evolves exceptionally over the years. Iraun is a term from the Basque language, derived from the verb "to endure". Its unique label depicts an "akelarre" (a nocturnal gathering of warlocks and witches) venerating Oriboro, a serpent from Basque mythology that bites its tail, alluding to eternity and implying that the end is in the beginning.
